Principal's Message

A Warm Welcome to the School Year!

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. My name is Eric Christensen, and I am honored to be the Principal of Mark Twain Elementary.  

I have been in education for 19 years as a 3rd grade teacher, elementary assistant principal and as principal. I am excited to be the Principal at Mark Twain Elementary, where we believe that all students can succeed, no exceptions. Twain staff is a community of educators who believe in creating good relationships with students, parents, and community partners.  

We have high expectations for student success, and we work collaboratively to provide rigorous content with support to help students achieve their highest potential. We also welcome an on-site school counselor, two days a week, to support our students in becoming successful in the present and the future.  

Again, I am honored to serve this amazing school. I look forward to partnering with you in educating and supporting your child in their success.
